Survival
On this page you will find various tools on the ‘net necessary for IB survival (or perhaps maybe not necessary). These tools are highly recommended for the IB Students falling in between the categories of slacker and overachiever. More content will be added as time goes on.
General IB Survival
IB Notes. Contains a repository of many, many links to various IB stuff (syllabi, helpful notes, etc.).
IB Screwed.net. Communicate with fellow IB-ers, debate with fellow IB nerds on various topics, and more.
Biology
Glossary of Biochemistry. Really useful, with lots of advanced biochemical and molecular terms.
Topics in Biology. An online biology book without the useless fluff some college biology books have.
MedlinePlus Encyclopedia. Okay, not exactly an IB-specific source, per se, but it’s useful for those Human Health and Physiology terms (like amniocentesis).
IB Biology WikiBook. Some sections are currently incomplete, but it can be used as a study guide.
Chemistry
Periodic Table Explorer. It’s like a paper version of a periodic table, only, you can search through elements and read more detailed information about the elements. (Windows-only).
IBChem.com. Lots of stuff here.
